Local Business Event

I was at the Business on Anglesey and Gwynedd Business Network lunch meeting yesterday in the Trearddur Bay hotel. I met some very interesting people, and the food was good too! The speaker was Colin Munro from Highland Airways. He told us that when they first got the go-ahead for the flights from Anglesey to Cardiff, their passenger target was 7500 in the first 12 months. They have exceeded that target to 25000 passengers within 18 months!
Never underestimate the contacts that you make through networking opportunities like these. It can open new doors for your business. There is plenty of room for all of us to work together to make our businesses successful. In my experience I have found that people like to work with people, not necessarily with ‘the business’.
As long as you keep focussed on delighting your customer and give excellent service to everyone, you will be one big step closer to making a success of your business.

What a Week!

Well, we’ve had another busy week here at Anglesey Accounting. Sharon has been out and about meeting new customers. We’ve also been building good relationships with other local businesses. In this current economic downturn isn’t it even more important that we work together to source good quality businesses locally rather than looking elsewhere?
What do you think?
We’ve also just finished our latest advert which will be published in the Anglesey Informer. This is a community magazine which is distributed free to thousands of homes on Anglesey.
